Dayro is the only program of our Indian folk culture to which the whole family can listen together, and along with simple language the Bhagwadgita, the Ramayana, the stories of saints and heroes, our Gujarat’s learned poets dedicated their lives to keep folk literature alive, and which can make today’s generation happy and enlightened. It is my attempt to present our old stories to make today’s young generation understand them easily. At the same time, this program lasts for about three hours with the purpose of sowing the seeds of intelligence in the society through our folk songs and satires.
